We often need to insert images in our message for personal and business purpose. Attaching a snapshot will express your saying in a better way. Suppose, you want to show your client some sample product and you need to send some pictures of your product to him/her or you are abroad and your baby has just born. Do you want to see his/her face? Like these, there are also so many importance of inserting a picture in your message body. In this article we will know how can we insert an inline image in our hotmail email body. Here, I am explaining how to insert an image in your email.
Step 1: Go to www.hotmail.com and login your account
Step 2: Click the “+New” button from the hotmail toolbar to write an email (see previous posts to know how to write an email with hotmail).
Step 3: There are two ways to insert an image in your email. You can attach an image from the “insert-files as attachments” from the hotmail toolbar. You can send an image to the receiver as an attached file but if you want to insert the image in your message body, you have to click “insert-pictures inline” from the dropdown.
Step 4: After clicking the “pictures inline” you will see a window and from there you can pick the image from your computer’s hard drive that you want to insert.
Step 5: If you want to insert an image from online, open the web page containing the image that you want to insert in a separate tab or window.
Step 6: If the image is larger than 640×640 pixels, you need to download the picture, resize it within 640×640 pixels and upload the picture again in your blog or facebook account or any photo sharing sites.
Step 7: After opening the image in a new tab highlight only the image with your mouse.
Step 8: Press ctrl+c to copy the image and back to the hotmail message box
Step 9: Press ctrl+v to paste the image in the message body. If you pick the image from any photo sharing site hyperlink the image with the web address of that site by clicking insert hyperlink(like the how to set up a signature on hotmail post ).
Step 10: Congratulations! You are done
